ok so this is one of my first posts so bare with me. Since i have been in Birmingham I have been playing on USTA tennis teams out of Pelham. It is so much fun and I have met some amazing ladies. well this year our area team won our area and we were able to go to state which was in Gulf Shores last weekend. I was so excited but never knew what was about to happen. Okay, so each team has 3 courts of doubles. Well, it just so happens that with our team only 6 of us were able to go until Sunday. That means we all played every single match. Yes, I played 7 matches and loved every minute of it. And the best part, WE WON STATE!!!! I could not believe it. Our team did amazing. Now we are going to regionals which just happens to be in Mobile, AL this year. It consists of all the winners from the southeast. I am so pumped. It is just so great to get involved in something like this that you can have goals of getting better at. I miss that from highschool.
